Preparing for your wedding morning

A few simple steps in the weeks before, so your skin, hair and morning are ready for your most confident day.

3–6 monthsBefore
  • Have your bridal preview at my Kent studio. Bring your veil or accessories if you have them, photos of your dress, and your inspiration.
  • Wear a top with a similar neckline to your dress, so you can see the full look together.
  • Can't make a preview? A 30-minute Zoom consultation lets us plan your look in detail, including whether extensions would help.
6–8 weeksBefore
  • Confirm your final bridal party numbers, ceremony time and getting-ready address.
  • Book any colour, gloss or toning appointments, ideally 1–2 weeks before the day.
  • Avoid trying new skincare, treatments or facials from here on.
The week ofYour wedding
  • Hydrate, sleep well and keep your skin routine gentle and familiar.
  • Wash your hair the day before unless advised otherwise, and skip heavy oils or serums.
  • Choose a button-up top or robe for the morning, so you can change without disturbing your hair.
The morningOf your wedding
  • Come to your chair with clean, moisturised skin and no makeup.
  • Have breakfast and water close by, and let yourself enjoy every moment.
  • Leave time for dressing, photographs and your veil, so nothing feels rushed.
